Gmail is the most known and widely used free email service in the world.
Creating a new account can be seen as a really tough task for someone who is pretty new to the internet world.
But, it is quite simple and requires just few simple steps to complete.

Step 1: Starting Page
Go to www.gmail.com and click on “Create an account” option.
Step 2: Filling Details
After clicking on create an account option you will be redirected to account opening page.
In the first row of the form you will have to fill in your first name and last name.
In the second row you have to specify a preferred email id.
Mostly it would be unavailable you have to mix it up with numbers to get a available email id.
In the third row you have to fill in a password. Give a strong password with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols.
Step 3: Verifying Phone Number
This step might not be available for some. But, sometimes google might ask you to verify your phone number for security reasons.
You need to input your mobile number for verification. The process is very simple once you filled in the phone number click on “Next” button. After which you will be sent a verification code which you need to fill in the row shown.
After filling in the verification code click on “Verify” option, you will be instantly verified.
Step 4: Filling Other Details
After verifying your phone number you will be asked to fill up a recovery email address.
If you already have a email address or if any of your trust-worthy friends have a email address. You can give that email address for recovery.
When you have trouble logging into your account, then you can use this recovery email address to recover your gmail account.
In the next row you will be asked to fill up your date of birth and gender. These details aren’t visible to others, unless you share it publicly or with specific people.
After filling in the details click on the “Next” option.
Step 5: Privacy and Terms
In this page you will be asked to agree to google’s privacy and terms. If you have time, give a quick read and click on I agree option.
Congratulations, now you have successfully created your new gmail account.
